To Slug's family,

We are very sorry for your loss. Some of the best years of my life was hunting with Slug and the rest of the crew (Bucky, Matt and Kevin). Glad to have driven the eight-pointer out to him on the flats off the Steven's road. Could have taken a broadside shot when the deer tore through the woods but didn't know if it was a buck or doe. In any case, Slug took care of it and I got my share of the of the meat.
